# Anilife for Android and TV

> Learn what Anilife does and find verified guides for installing, updating, using, and troubleshooting the Android phone and TV apps.

Anilife is a community-driven anime app for Android phones, tablets, Android TV, Google TV, and Fire TV. You can browse and watch without an Anilife account, keep your place on the device, and optionally synchronise your library with AniList or MyAnimeList.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Official Android and TV builds are distributed through the [Anilife GitHub Releases page](https://github.com/anilifecommunity/android-and-tv/releases). Prereleases are tester builds.

## What you can do

* Discover episodes across multiple sources and resume where you stopped.
* Download supported episodes for offline playback.
* Use an optional AniList or MyAnimeList sign-in for library and progress sync.
* Receive episode notifications and signed Anilife announcements when enabled.
* Change the theme, playback, subtitle, download, and TV display settings.

Anilife has no app-specific account requirement and does not send usage analytics. Diagnostic reports stay on your device unless you choose to export or upload one.
